After the accidental passing of her mother, Ragini, Arunima lives a wealthy lifestyle with her builder father Devinder Dua. Both are very close, and after she befriends Manu, is gives his approval. Things change between them she sees him assault a male at a wedding. At a chance meeting with a noble-man, Digvijay Singh, she finds out that her mother was musically-inclined - a fact that was never discussed nor disclosed by her father. When questioned, she finds her father very evasive on any topic involving her mother and her hobbies.
